i know ive been working way to many hourts, and this is a 3rd grade homework paper:ermm: but I cant unscramble this sentence:grr:

relative location and points of reference are trig properties i do believe. my aunt is a 4th grade teacher and has some advanced classes... she sometimes gets me to do some things for her and its crazy what theyre doing. its not like its her either... its all in the curriculm (sp?) its nuts.

i cant believe im a senior in highschool and had a DUR look at my face whe i first read that...in third grade all i was worrying about was where spot was gonna run next.

This makes the most sense out of any of the possibilities posted.

In order to describe a location that is relative to something else you must first know what that location is relative to.....a point of reference, that's what! :D

Had no idea it had to do with math:confused: I didn't take any classes above Algebra 1:ermm:

I like to do Crosswords and Cryptoquips in the newspaper though;)

Its a trick! they know that a 3rd grader cant figure it out and they are testing to see if their parents do the homework for them.

My 3rd Grade son ALSO got this assignment and got stuck unscrambling this sentence - if it wasn't because of this thread I would have found the answer!

That's some pretty crazy stuff for 3rd grade homework! Back in grade 3 we were learnin how to spell cookies and 2X2!
