is there ne way 2 intall a kick starter on a 300 ex if so please post back thinks

It would be easiest to just put a 250x bottom end in it, if then u would lose the 50cc's but I think u could put a 300ex crank in the 250x bottom end and keep your 50cc's

Yes you can put a kick start on a 300EX with some machine work, but the 250X engine would be easier.

NO you can't use a 300EX crank in the 250X cases. They are completely different. The bearings and journals are bigger on the the 300 crank.

You could get a 288cc big bore for the 250X engine and have more cc's than a stock 300EX (282). Only you will have a bigger bore with a shorter stoke, good for fast revving.

Get a 250X side case cover and run the shaft outside of it and throw the kicker on it.

There's a lot more to it, than the case cover. The cover only lacks a hole for the shaft.

thinks sorry it took me 2 long 2 get back im thinking about just dropping the 350x motor in it the reason i want a kick is beecause i have already bought a new starter and now i got a bearing out of the gear that turns the flywheel and i think my starter is screwing up

E start is more of a pain than it's worth sometimes. I like my kicker.

I like my kicker on my 250r too, but they are only good if you know how to start them with a kicker, so you don't have to kick all day.
