I've heard a few people talk about them but no one wants to say anything about if it's worth it. Where can a guy get his hands on one? I've got some decent mods and wanna add a little more without breaking the bank.

never heard of one. i have heard of reed spacers for 2 strokes and TB spacers for cars but never an intake spacer for a 4 stroke quad. what exactly are you referring to?

I know vitos makes a intake spacer for the raptor, but I have not heard anything for any other bike,I made one for my 400ex out of 1/4 in aluminum and I did notice a little difference.

all a spacer would do is make for more low end torque.

i fabbed up a 3/4 inch spacer out of some high temp plastic i had. made it more snappy off the jump but hurt my top end badly.

Ive considered doing this a few times, my 450 carb doesn't seem as snappy until I hit the mid rpm's. Are you guys putting them between your airboot and engine and it sound's like the more of a space that is put in the more low end you will gain but also will lose some top end.

i put mine between the head and the intake boot.
