Is yours that close to the motor? I'm thinking I can just bend the header a little and it will clear the motor mount. Could you get some close up pics?

Mine isn't that close to the motor. I think it clears it pretty easy. In the picture, it just looks like the bend isn't exactly right. I won't be able to get any pictures until Friday at the earliest.

Ok I talked to Dasa - he said that I more than likely got a mislabeled head pipe. He said it shouldn't even be close to touching and that it only does this if you put an 05 header on an 06. He said the silencer and midpipe are the same for all years. So the only difference is the header.

Good news is they are sending me an entire pipe to correct the problem.

That's what I was wondering, if they just sent you an 05. I should be getting my system soon for my 05. I can't wait. Hows the quality look thump4863? Looks like you have a sweet rebuild going on!

Well the header was labeled 06 so he thinks they mislabeled it. Quality looks great and I love the looks of it. Its pretty sharp!

try loosing the clamp at the motor and rotate the pipe out/ up a little. you may or may not have to add spacers or slot the holes on the can brackets.

get the head pipe where it will clear and see what it will take to mount the can.

if that don't work call them!!
