octane for piston

so just to make sure, i can put in a 11:1 piston and stage 2 cam(rest of mods at the bottom) in my 400ex and use 91 octane. i wont have any problems?

In my experience in KY you can run that setup you mentioned above without running race fuel.

You can absolutely run 91 octane with an 11:1 piston on a stage 2 cam without a problem for sure, I know several people that have done it.

I had an 11:1 and a stage 1 and ran 87 sometimes with no problems. Its a 400ex... the 11:1 advertised compression isn't even correct anyways. The piston sits down in the cylinder .040 at TDC anyways. I would be sure to get a cometic thin head gasket too.

so now that i know that it is ok 2 put in a 11:1 does the location mattter?
