aftermarket cam with stock exhaust?

just a quick question.. alright, so i have a 416 with a 10.8:1 piston, but i can not get an aftermarket pipe due to the area i ride in.. i know, the extra displacement means nothing unless it can breath, but the higher comp piston seems to have made a nice little improvement even with a stock pipe. i was just wondering if running a hotcams stage 1 would still be worth it if its not breathing properly? opening it up is not an option, but will i see appreciable gains if i switched to this cam? thanks!

yes u will feel a difference. it gives more bottom and mid power. i used to run stg1 with stock exhaust but i got stg 2 cause i rebuilt it and piped it....

alright thanks! i just didnt know if they would compliment each other as well if it cant breath, but im glad somebody answered that has actually done that.
