Upon reassembly of my 450r after powdercoat, I am wondering whether I am going to have to grind some of the powdercoat off of my frame in order to achieve a good ground for my ignition coil and for one of my leads from my killswitch??? I would think that I would have to , but do any of you guys know from personal experience???

the bolt you use to attach the ground will usually be sufficiant for a ground as it passes through your ground connector into the frame. On the 400ex and Z400 we have had a few that required us to buzz of the flat connector behind the coil on one leg. No issues so far with the yfz or R.
