Does anybody know where I can get a tc exhasut for my 01 400ex?

You have to buy a used one, they dont make the new style for anything other than TRX450, YFZ450, and LTR450 as of now.

you can make one yourself without much hassle, if you have a good header pipe, just buy a supertapp for atc350x, you may need to cut, weld, or bend a tube to mate to the 400ex header and you can get a open end cap,or use the discs. That is all a tc shorty is!!! I put a atc350x supertrapp on my 86 atc200x, just by cutting the header back(it was a oversized cobra), does this make it Tc shorty system??????

I stand corrected, the Tc Exhuasts are made in partner with supertrapp, they list them on supertrapps web site also, its no longer a secret that he uses supertrapp canisters and mid pipes and cut, weld, bend head pipes to fit.

Has anybody made their own shorty or does anybody know where I can get a used tc exhaust or a cheap supertrapp that I can modify?

here is one I made for my 86 200x, I could have cut it back further, but didn't want to.

its a 85/86 350x supertrapp system and the 86 200x cobra head pipe cut back.

I think the one that he sold for a 400ex, used the stock head pipe, a different mid pipe and silencer.

The old TC pipes were a slip on, you had to cut your stock header down about 4 inches I think to even make it fit...

He also sold a full system too I think.

I just bought this pipe and was wondering if anybody thinkd that i'm ganna have to cut it or modify it to fit. The guy used it on a hybrid on a 250r frame.

You might have to mod it a little. What engine was it used on?

I ran a 165 main.

I think he used a 450 motor but i'm not sure.
