i personally prefer the boyeson rad valve, for the main reason that there is a lot less area that is rubber that can crack and suck in sand/dust...

i dont like the v force for how much rubber there is, and i didnt like how the cr set up lined up...

CR 250 Rad valve is what I prefer, especially for the larger carbs.

I have been using the trx rad valve. It seema to work well. But I have been looking for a new set up. But I will talk with my engine builder when I get my cylinder reported to see what he would run.

They sell different boots for larger carbs for about ten dollars.

After trying a Rad valve, V-Force 2, and Stock stuff, I'd reccommend just putting some dual stage reeds on your stock cage and spending the rest of your money on gas.

would the rad valve complement my dune ported cylinder or would the vforce3 work better? man, i wish i had the money for both....

I honestly have owned both, the Rad valve and the V-force. I really thought they were both good products but for the dunes I would definately go with the Rad valve. It has stiffer reeds which help for top end motors (motors usually ported for the dunes) as for the V-force, they have softer reeds which open and close more allowing more low end grunt. I tried both of them one day just because I was tired of the comparison (the only reason why I had both was the V-force came with a parts bike I bought), they both have their areas where they excel in. Personally, after experimenting with them I ended up keeping the Rad valve and selling the V-force simply because I think it not only applied better to my riding conditions but was a more quality unit with the intake all being in one.
