What do you guys do to help you wake up? What are somethings that make it easier and such.

stubbing my toe on the damn corner of my wall.

put an alarm clock across the room so you have to get out of bed. Turn it off and immediately take a hot shower! That should work for you...but bear in mind the initial wake up is going to hurt!

Im off tommorrow but usually i have to be @ work @ 5:45am. That means i have to get up @ 4:45am since work is only 15-20 min away. Im not and probably never will be a morning person. When i get up im always so pissed off and i usually don't get completely awake until around 7-7:30 @ work. But i have never had trouble actually getting out of bed i just freakin hate it!:grr:

Put both of those together and put the alarm clock across the room and set it early. If you can get up and walk to the other side of your room 4 times your ready for a marathon.

well first off if you start going to bed earlier it isnt so bad.. I am NOT a morning person but now I have to wake up around 7 am every morning (7 days a week) after a week I started going to bed no later than 11 pm. Also it doesnt hurt that I have to hear someone elses snooze go off for almost an hour before I even have to wake up so Im normally ticked off before its even time for me to wake up...

I do something like that. I gotta be up by 6. So I set my alarm to like 230 in the morning so I get up and think its my real alarm. But then I realize its not and I still get to sleep. Then I set another alarm(my cell phone) to 5:55 so I can hit the snooze button once or twice.

Hot showers relax me =\

I do the clock across the room trick. I have it set for 5am, althought my dog is in my room crying for a walk at about 4:45.

they do make alarm clocks that dont start out so loud...they do make some that are very quiet and gradually get louder and louder, i heard those are pretty nice to have... i wouldnt know though, i am a big mourning person, i get up at 8 when i ahve nothign to do.....another thing, just go to bed earlier, dont watch the extra hour of TV at night...youll wake up more rested...11 pm is way too late to be going to bed...go to bed around 9-930

if i have to wake up early i set an alarm usually about 30 minutes before i have to actually wake up. then i have it set again for when i actually have to wake up. seems to help when i get to lay down and have some time to wake up.
