Lt250r engine???

Will a 88' engine fit into a 86' frame even if i have to buy new engine mounts???? I need to know, or if there is a way to do this let me no please!!!!!!

86 frames will not work with 87 motors with just mounts. cylinders exhust angles are not the same. 85-86 frames have bar down the middle and newer frames the bar spilts in front of the motor.
