Pappy,

The two bearings left in the cases are in the clutch release arm. Neil had the idea of pouring wax in there and letting it get hard. Then when you powdercoat it and bake it the wax will jsut run out and wax wont hurt the bearings. Unless you have a better way.

Also the thin bearing in the shift drum will need to be removed.

Thanks

i will take a look at them when they get here. depending on the type of bearing, it could be a piece of cake or it could be a hassle:p

cases run anywhere from $35 to $50 but it will depend on their condition and how much work needs to be done to get them ready for coating.

the coating and the ebarings dont worry me, its the prep and bearings that can cause issues. ill handle it.

Neil cleaned up the cases pretty good and welded up a spot where the top bolt for the chain gaurd broke off so that should look good and as far as i know the rest of the cases externally are in good condition

great to hear!

i go to a much larger shop 3 or 4 times a week so they can burn off parts for me. i would be bored to death in that type of shop! 5000 widgets all black would get old. i love doing atv, auto and street bikes, always different.

ive been appraoched about going bigger but other then a bigger shop here at my place, i think i will stay specialized. each time i save enough to upgrade equipment and learn more, the more satisfied i am with my work and that makes me happy!

no problem, i just plugged it and went on. the bearing inside the case was taped off before media prep. i checked it afterwards and its fine.

2 center cases, stator cover, clutch cover and water pump cover. i havent searched for the other parts if they were sent (still in the box i assume)

**edit**

I just checked the box and no kick start lever, or engine mount, just the engine parts

should just be the rear motor mount to be done in mirror orange and the kickstarter assembly to be done in stealth
