View Full Version : Adjusting a Lectron Carb, Need help

Ok, My cousin has a Lectron Carb for his 400EX, I know its not the best carb and I read people ***** about how hard it is to adjust and get to idle right, but he got it in a trade when he sold his 300EX, so, he is stuck with this carb and we need to get his quad running with it.

We really need some tips for getting this to work, I know the throttle housing and the carb boot need to be modified.

We dont even know how to adjust the needle on the thing, any help will be appreciated, thanx guys

come on, someone has to know how to adjust this thing?! how does the needle move?? anyone?????

Try www.lectronfuelsystems.com. They have tuning instructions and diagrams.

to my knowledge you have to take the slide out and push the needle in and turn.which way for lean/rich dont know my frined had one on his 250r.....let me know how it runs with that carb i am in the hunt for one...thx..
