If you really believe John runs these winter races because he needs money then you have another thing coming. Can anyone say dirt bike pro-national = lots of money?

There are a lot of people that think John doesn't like quads. It doesn't matter if you are riding a bike or quad. If you break the rules at his track you will pay the consequences. I agree the winter races are not for the money. If he only wanted to count his money wouldn't you think he would stay clean? He is not afraid to work and get dirty.

Come on people!!! He definitely doesn't do the Feb races for the money. He makes enough money off the dirt bike nationals that he could probably not have any other races for the year. Like Delaware152 said, it doesn't matter if your a bike or quad, you break the rules, he will treat you the same. I'm pretty sure he's not losing any sleep over not having a GNC and could careless if anyone is laughing. Just so you know, Beasley is one of the best if not the best in the D7 series when it comes to preping a track when there has been bad weather. As for trying to churn up frozen ground, would you tear up your equipment just to hold races in Feb for a poor turn out.

Let me ask you guys this. How many times have you been to Buddscreek and got all of your moto's or all of your laps in? I have been going there for almost 5 years and I cannot recall a time that I have.

"I'm pretty sure he's not losing any sleep over not having a GNC and could careless if anyone is laughing"
I've found that lack of concious allows you to not care and sleep well.
Your right, he don't need the GNC and we are happy as a pig in slop to not go back.
It really was a nice track.
I bet we'd be happy to go back if,
1) Beasley would stay off the track when the pro's are flying at him
2) hire flagmen and officials that don't hit kids with flags and that are not deaf, blind, verbally abusive, and dishonest.

If there is a light turnout which is 300-400 riders you will get all of your laps in. Budds Creek gets the biggest turnout for races on a local level in that area. When there are 700-800 riders how can you run around 45 long motos and be done in one day?

Everyone one can complain but they always return!! every year he had a gnc national it was in the top thre or two for the most riders of the year!!

Delaware152 hit it right on the nose. A light turnout and you will get all your laps in but considering Budds races usually brings out about 700-800 riders, it's going to be tough to get all the laps in. Everyone will always complain and end up going back because it's one of the best tracks in the area. If not, the best.

Why does practice have to last until noon? Why do the A riders get such a long practice? I am not trying to argue I just don't like the way we (the customers) are treated there. I love the track and my boys love riding there I just don't like the way it is run.

I have to agree I am not sure why they use the practice schedule they use. It does waste some time. I guess one good thing is at least quads get 20 minutes practice but I would rather race the extra laps. I have been racing there for over 15 years and the quad practice is always 10:20. They are running a couple races District 13 format this year so maybe quads will actually get to race instead of having a 2 1/2 lap sprint.
