i need a new oil tank for my 400ex. is it worth the money getting an oversized tank. what are the advantages.

It keeps the motor cooler from what I heard. What part in wisconsin are you from derek?

It will hold almost a quart more of oil, which means the oil will last longer between changes. Some say cooler temperatures, but I didn't really see that, it just seems to take a little longer to get it up to the really warm temps. There is more surface area to cool, but it also puts it really close to the headpipe. I probably wouldn't get one unless I had to replace my oil tank, which you do, so I would probably get that over another OEM one.
