Sprocket question.

What is 1 tooth lower on the front sprocket for a 05 400ex?

About to order one, so if anyone knows for sure.

I think it is 12.. Stock is 13?

But the 99-04 are 14?

Stock sprockets on 2005 and UP are 14 Front and 39 Rear. Going down to a 13 will give you the low end torque for fast acceleration and hill climbing power at the expense of top end speed.
Going up on the front sprocket will lose low end torque and gain high end speed. Is that what you want? It all depends on where you want the improvement. I kept mine stock on my 2006. It's really great at both.
Ensure you order a front sprocket for a 2005 and UP. The inside splines are different and they are not interchangable with older models.
