I just tried it and the rear shock from the 05 hit's the motor.I tried puting a 06 shock on and it sits way to high,so then tried using the 06 links and they will not fit to .So my only fix it to put the complete rear end off of the 06 back on the 06 or buy an aftermarket rear shock with remote rezz.

Did you use the swinger too?

You have to keep all 3 together from the same year, shock / link / swing arm

yes the complete stock rear end from a 05 will not work on a 06 .If i had a aftermarket shock with a remote rezz it whould work because the rezz whould not hit the motor

I've got an 06 aftermarket linkage and re-valved/resprung shock for sale, changing due to sponsorship. 4 rides (4 hrs total) since the shock was serviced.
