I know. I just don't want the OEM plastic because of the stupid warning lable space and rivet holes. the maier don't have those.

 I just looked at the cost difference between the two. for the difference of 50% I'll live with the holes and the space for the lable.

I guess I should of looked at the prices first.

I just got maier shiny race-cut for my 300ex, and they were at most half the cost of OEM. I think its strange that OEM 400ex plastic is so cheap... does anyone know why that is? is it a demand issue?

As far as my new plastic, it looks great. My seat and headlight look a little out of place now, they don't really match the new plastic, but I am happy!

Here is my bike, mostly stock, fun to ride around though.
I don't race or anything, so I guess that makes me a poser with my numberplate, but I don't really give a fu<k.

Thanks for the compliment.
Works dual rates shocks.
Supertrapp exhaust, came on the bike new in '95, complete with the carb being re-jetted.
Any mod I have made has been out of necessity, I really messed up my fenders after 2 rolls, an endo, and rearending somebody, I broke a front shock from excessive jumping, etc.

Yes it is cheap. But shipping is 45 bucks. that puts it over the retail cost:eek: So now, do I pay the shipping, or do I pay the state sales tax? either way I have to wait for it to get here.
