well, i guess i got the worst of winter yesterday.

i was traveling down a large hill on slick roads, when me and my buds came upon a person stopping on the hill to turn into a driveway.

tryed to put on the brakes, but they locked up (we were atleast slowing down enough to safely avoid the stopped truck)
until the abs decided it wanted to unlock my brakes, and let me slide into the truck in front on me

it wasnt bad, we just kind of tapped the back of him (maybe 5-8mph), but i was enough to bend my bumper down, put a crack in the middle, and dent his rear bumper

dont you just love winter?

thats one of the problems with abs. i think there are many times i could have stopped faster if my abs didnt kickin

A.B.S. has it's advantages and disadvantages ... they work great when you're going 60 MPH and need to slam on the brakes during the winter .. atleast it won't put you into a 360 spin and you have steering control . But the times where you need to stop in a hurry and the ABS isn't allowing you to , well that sucks !!!!
