LT 230 Carb Question

the choke on my 86 lt230s will not stay in any position over then off, I can hold it in the on position but it will just go back to off as soon as I let go.

on the fiche number 31 lists as a starter plunger assembly what is this for? Is this suppose to be used to hold the choke in position?

More then likely... if its not on there i would guess thats what its for. do you have problems with cold starts were you need the choke tho?

if you wanted to play around with jets id say swap it out for a 300ex carb its got an accelerator pump

yes it is very cold blooded it needs to be choked when cold started, but it will not stay running when the choke is off. It has a lot of problems right now burns oil like you wouldnt beleave, its a new piston and rings bored 25 over the piston looks brand new.
