so i just got an FCR 41 for my bike. mods are: 11:1 88mm(426), Hot cams stage 2 (old version), Ported & polished head, HMF slip on, K&N Filter and no airbox lid. i just need a base line to start from. currently with the stock carb i have a 48 pilot and 178 main but i know it is off because that was what i ran before teh P&P head. i was thinking about a 182 or 185 MJ and stick with the same pilot. any suggestions?

well i put the carb on. have a 55 pilot, stock needle out of a CRF450 in the bottom groove, and a 180MJ. seems close from a short test ride, actually a little lean. running the carb through the ultrasonic cleaner now then gonna try it again. the acc. pump was not fully working before.

i had stock 400ex carb with the choke removed. i was gonna go with a 450r carb, but i could not possibly beat the deal i got on the FCR. i love teh power it has, it was a huge increase over stock. i won't be able to really test it for a while, it is to cold for me to ride right now, but as soon as it warms up a bit (over 35*, right now the highs are in teh 20's) i am goin ridin to test it out.
