tierod ball joint help

the boots on the tie rods, how do you tighten them, and do they go into the spindle from the bottom or the top?

sounds like you need new ones but i could be wrong i know thats what is wrong with mine.they go into the spindle from the bottom

no u shouldnt need new ones if u got an impact gun they should go on if not inbetween the boot and the spindle there is a slot for a 14mm(i think its 14 might be 13) wrench put the wrench on there and tighten the nut on till tight....

they go on from the bottom. and there is a 14mm nut to grab so it wont spin while you try and tighten the nut.
