Baja style lights???

I have an 04 450r and was thinking of adding a light kind of like the baja 450r's do. I have an extra hella 55 watt halogen laying around and was thinking about installing that along with my stock lights. would the alternator be able to handle all this or would they run dim or not work at all???

call ricky stator and ask him if it would be able to handle it. if not, he has the goods to make it handle it

Well, the stock stator only puts out about 120 watts. The stock lights are 35 watts each, so that is 70. Add in the 55 and you have 125, to much. So it will not work. You could get rid of the stock lights and just use two 55 watt lights, I know that works as I have seen people do it before.
