Hi everyone. I have been trying to find a longer fuel mixture screw for a 2000 400ex, but haven't been successful. The ones one ebay say that they only fit 450r's and some others. Does anyone know where I can find one for my 400?

I don't think they even make longer ones, why do you need one?

If you need a longer fuel screw to turn more than 3 turns out then you have more jetting issues then the screw. unless of course you want the extra length for the ease of adjusting, like the one for yfz i believe with the knurreled knob that you can turn with your fingures.

It's copper. Get another small piece of copper rod from the hardware store and solder it to the bottom (adjustment end). Then wala, you have a finger adjuster. ;)
