200$ chevy 3/4 ton

ok so I live out in the boondocks (vernonia Oregon)
any ways I was talking to some of my friends they turned me on to a 1978 chevy heavy 3/4 ton truck with a 400 small block. I paid 200$ for a running motor streight body semi nice interior and aq good lookin truck.

this was about a month ago now it is lifted 7 inches and has 38's under neith of it

I smell bs man. a 700hp car is not going to have a hotchkis suspension. its going to have something thats set up for drag not a road course and ur car looks stock height. like i said before, my car is not a f***** drag car. This is my everyday car that i drive around. It has parts in it. So i really need this car to get to school. Im not gonna set it up for drag racing. And about the steeda fuel injectors, by accident, i ordered different ones but those came in, so i took the car to a place called ICS Performance, and they made them fit nice. don't get out much do ya? i have seen many hi HP F-body's. local guy has one, push 700HP that is daily driven. if done right, 700HP can be done reliably and economically. i mean look at the new Z06. it has 505 off the showroom floor, gets 18mpg, and people drive them daily? not 700 but i'm sure it ain't real hard to get them to be. granted not many people us a 700Hp car as a DD, but some do.

yea, you can get good gas mileage with a z06, i checkced what the viper was getting one day i believe it was around 20! hard to believe but it is 6sp manual, i kept the rpms below 2000 and you get decent i know its hard to do though :devil: , now take it to a track and rev it up some, cut that mileage in half, maybe take off more than that or drive it around town hard and thats what you end up gettin

Exactly. One of my friends daily drives his Z51 Vette year round in New York, previously did the same with an 02 Z06. Its all about how much effort you are willing to put into that drive.

I have raced him before in my 1998 Supra Twin Turbo when it had a little over 500hp. he beat me by a good amount of lengths but we will race agian. I live a bout a mile from Tater and i see him almost everday along with his SS. When i live there is a body shop with a dyno. I took my supra to ICS performace and it came up with 867hp and 729 foot pounds of tourqe. by the wayTater is gettin his whole interior done with sparco seats and belts and suede.
