I was think about moving my oil cooler on my 400ex. I'd like to put it up front, so much air as possible can get to it.
I was thinking about putting it in front of the streering stem with a peice of metal screen around it to keep debris off it.
But does it matter how far I put it foward. I know i'll have to make the lines longer but will that effect my oil pressure while idiling? Any suggestions are welcome
Thanks everybody

It wont be bad. Aftermarket oil coolers always get put up infront of the grab bar.

Only thing that it may do is slow down reving slightly from needing to push the oil threw more oil line but probably wont be felt. Should look on ebay for stock oil coolers off other motors. Some are big which woud help alot and you can get them cheep.

I seen a oil cooler on ebay. Here's the link

It says it's an atv cooler for honda yamaha etc. Would this work?
