cuttin a pipe

ive seen some pipes that have been shortened... whts the use of this

two stroke silencers can be cut. The shorter they are the more bottom end while the longer the more top. I don't no about 4 strokes

One of my buddies has cut T-3s on his shee. It is supposed to bring out a little more low end and let it rev out better. It basicly makes the T-3s behave a lot like T-5s, a lot of sand draggers run this set-up. It looks cool too.
