I ride recreationaly, I want more low and mid power. Im thinking stage 1 HotCam. What piston should I get?

I don't think he would want to run race gas/mix for recreational riding

He has a 450r, stock static compression for a 450r is 12:1, no need to mix race fuel for a 12.5:1 or 13:1 piston.

Just because 12:1 is stock, it doesn't mean that it isn't already set for premium pump. I'd HIGHLY doubt that a 450r could run 13:1 on 91-93 octane w/o detonation especially after upgrading the cam..

I'd keep the stock piston.

But, I've been wrong many times before.. lol. ;)

I think a better upgrade would be to grab an FCR carb. Didn't the '05 still have the standard round slide keihin?

04/05 has a stock static comp of 10.5:1. I'd go 12:1 or 12.25:1 for pump gas.
