k&n filter installed today, I have a ?

The breather hose coming in the side of the airbox... Do I just set it against the side of the filter? Probably a dumb question but this is my first quad.

u will have to get a small K&N breather filter that clamps on top of the hose...

uni sells crank case breathers. but i did buy a k&n one off of ESR before.

Is it absolutely necessary? I have had my K&N for 2 years and never had one of the breathers. Should i get one?

It's not absolutely necessery. But you atleast have to have the breather hose up against your airfilter.
