450r or 400ex L/T shocks on 250r

I am looking at changing from a standard travel front end on my 250r to a longtravel design. Do the 450r and 400ex long travel shocks work with the geometry of the 250r frotn end.

The 400ex shocks will work-im not too sure on the 450 though

The reason I ask about the 450 is because I see so many say that the 400 L/T shocks will work with the 250r and then some say the 450 L/T shocks will work with the 400. So to me that means that the 450r L/T shocks should work with the 250r. :confused:

Its not so much the quad itself with longtravel.. you need to check with the a-arm manufacturer to see what shock you need to use. Then after that the geometry will probably still be different so they might need a revalve/respringing...;)
