a 87 has the fastest motor out of all the lt's. All the parts will interchange with the 87-90 lts and hte 91-92 lt things besides the frame and rearend and airbox. some things off the 85-86 lt's will work but not the motor, frame or front suspension.
Everything2stroke.com will help you out with the lt alot.
this is my 86

You can find parts for the 87 all over the place. LSR makes good a-arms and axles. they also have swingarms. shocks are one of the best mods to the LT. pep , elka, and works. just to name a few. suspension first and motor later but just look for motor mods like a bigger carb and a pipe. reeds and porting.

If I was trying to pic a fight I would but I didnt say anything, first. I think insulting an other riders quad is stupid. If you had a opinion about it you should of kept it to your self. Would you like it if i went on a thread that you posted and a pic you posted of your quad and I side it looked like a trx 90 or something on that note. It is uncalled for calling me an idiot. If i was I wouldn't be comming out with my own line of a-arms now would I.

burgard cycle is the way too go. he customer service is waayy better now. i ordered arms and a swingarm from him a few years ago and it took months. i just ordered a new set of arms and they came in less than 5 days. he has swingarms and a-arms.
also on the 87 gusset the hell out of it. i cracked my original frame the first season i went out mx'ing it. my new frame is like a tank. if u have any questions pm me. here's my lt. i just put on +3 +1 bugard chrome a-arms instead of the lsr +2's

im wondering if i can get quadzilla plastics to fit on an 87 lt250r on the front, and i was wondering if the z-400 axle will fix on the rear because i want to extend it.

Ya but have you ever rode one. They rip pretty damn good for stock. As in terms of power it would make both of those Ex's feel pretty lame.
