Anyone know how to pull a flywheel from a 1989 KX 125 motor. I took the bolt off and i dont know where to go from here, ive tried prying it out(I know) and it doesnt seem to want to budge, i do notice phillips head screws going into the flywheel itself, does this have anything to do with it, cant seem to get them loose, any ifo would help, thanks!

It's easier with a flywheel puller.

Well, I have never done much work on a KX125 but, in general, if you have the right puller and can hold the flywheel, than all you lack is some heat for expansion. Heat up the part you are pulling on, and try it then. ;)

Also, if it is a bolt type puller, use an impact gun on it to try to shock it loose. If not then hit it with a hammer for the same effect.

i wouldn't be hitting the flywheel with a hammer.

I meant hit the pulling tool. It has the same effect as an impact wrench. Also as 400eXr1d3rZ said you can use a rubber mallet on the flywheel to help break it loose.
