Check it out:

My stock rear master cylinder remote reservoir broke and pissed break fluid all over my swinger making a ****ty mess.

so I mounted a Cr rear master that has a built in reservoir.

The pedal is a litte soft now, but is still able to lock the rear on asphalt. I figure it will be okay for a duner.

Pice of cake install, only took a little braket to mount it to.

Bud Fischer tried this on a few of his custom chassis' and he said he really never could get the spongy feel to go away, no matter how much you bleed it.

The spongy feeling is not from air in the lines.

The piston size of the master is too small for the large two piston caliper. Its just something that Im willing to live with. To me the benifit of deleting the remote resi out ways the soft pedal.

i used a 02 front yz caliper and a 02 rear master cylinder... they sell on ebay dirt cheap and it almost bolts right on.

you just have to oval the holes a little

That looks like a nice set up man. Good alternative to the original stuff.

Its just not what I wanted to accomplish. You still have a remote resivour.

I do have the rear caliper from the dirt bike, but its a single piston caliper and it would take a bit of fabbing to get it to work.

The soft peddal is not that bad.

I like the looks and simplicity of an attached ressy. I ran a CRF450 rear master on my 450R and it had the soft feel also, but it gave me better modulation, which worked pretty good for my big feet.:p

I've been thinking of putting a YZ rear on my 250R, I've seen one done by another member and it looked real nice. The ressy on the YZ looks a little bigger, i'm not sure if it actually is or not. I now use a modified YZ brake pedal I got from the same member, which is shorter than stock and looks real nice.
