Well Guys, Some of you may have seen my posts about how to Shorten my Rossier. I took Quite a few pics so guys in the future can check it out...

1: Unscrew the Endcap

2: Bang out the Core!!
I Ended up folding the end up with a screw driver like this...

I Shoved a piece of 1 1/2" Copper pipe in the can and swung away!

nice. I would have thrown new packing in there while it was open. Hows the sound difference. I will prob shorten mine 3" when I get it, just so I dont ahve to worry about it hitting the ground since I am a huge fan of working on my quad when its standing.

Yeah, I Would have repacked it but I didnt have any at the time and I was in a crazy mood to wrench on something.

And You can buy a Rossier shorty strait from rossier, which is exactly what I have. I would have got the shorty in the first place but I bought this one used

Nice job! I got an extra black rossier decal for the pipe if you want it. Just shoot me a PM with your addy and id be glad but to drop in the mail for ya. I gotta go mail off a bunch of stuff today anyways.

i was wantin to shortin my pipe, does it make any difference power wise? i heard that it takes away from your bottom end pull.

I didnot nootice any changes in power. It may be a tad bit louder. there is snow everywhere though....So I cant really get traction to tell.

when you shorten a pipe if gives you more bottom end but takes away from the top end.

May be a dumb question but why did you cut it off three inches??? Is there a certain reason?

Yes, Because With it being 3" longer, it scraped the ground if I were to go up on the grab bar. Now I just need to order a new endcap and it will look brand new!
