Yeah. For the ten thousandth time.
I have finally had enough of the DynoJet. I'm taking it out.
What is a ballpark figure on an 11:1, HC Stage 1, HMF Full, K&N, stock bore, main jet (Kehein). i will stop at the Honda shop tomorrow and pick up a handful of jets. Also stock needle position. Thanks

easy way to jet... go as big as you can.. ride it at WOT.. if it stumbles.. drop down a jet size.. repeat until you dont stumble at WOT then your jet should be perfect without going to the dyno.. if you want the best result you'll have to go to a dyno.. but this method works great..

Thanks for the response. I understand how to jet, I was just wondering a rough estimate on a main jet size, so I can go to the Honda shop and get a handful of mains to use. I am guessing around a 160 as another fella mentioned to me. Also, is there a washer above the needle on the stock jet. I know there is with a DynoJet, but I do not have my manual here to help me.

Would staying with the DynoJet Needle hurt anything, then just run the Kehein Jets?

I have the full HMF, needle is third clip from top, I use a 170 with stock engine.

See below for mods.

42 / 170 is what C&D recommended to me.

I'm still breaking it in, so hard to say if I'm where I need to be.

I bet you're rich. Maybe a 160K not a 170K.

jrm03-I did the same thing as you and switched back to Keihin jets. I kept the Dynojet adjustable needle installed. No worries about any ill effects. Keep the needle installed.

Yes the 170 is rich for just an exhaust an filter.

Also it might have ill effects keeping that needle in if it is a different taper/length than the stocker.

I too would get mains from 155-165, a 42 pilot and then just play with the needle, main, and air screw.
