says im in the top 11%..

my PC specs:
Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 1809MHz
Display Card ATI RADEON X800 Series
Memory 1024MB
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP
Free Disk Space 5.01GB
Display Card Memory 256MB
Display Driver Version 6.14.10.6601
DirectX Version 9.0c
Optical Drive N/A
Sound Card SB Live! Audio [DCE0]

i wasnt going to do anything until the next CPU release, then buy the discounted performance junk when the prices fall.. (mobo, cpu, mem & video)

im not sure how they come up with the rating though.. i suspect its nothing more than looking at your hardware without any real performance test..

im only running 20 processes (18 when i game) and ive seen more powerful PC's running slower in actual game performance..

Can I ask you a question? I know how to end processes and such but how do you know which ones are vital to the computer? I have a lot of processes running most of the time on mine but I don't know what's important and what isn't. Thanks :)

the best way to know which is important and which isnt, is by going through the list one at a time and doing a search on the internet for the name shown..

for instance, my laptop shows a program called ISSVC.EXE .. i look it up and it tells me its from the norton AV.. since im concerned about my works poor implementation of firewalls and lack of real IT support, i leave that running for my work PC..

other things like hkcmd.exe (hotkey command), ill turn off because windows hotkeys are annoying, particularly when gaming..

once you find out what they are, you can go into the program and turn it off.(like auto-updating programs..)
it can take some time to get the list down to size..

there are alot of links to guides for streamlining windows..

if youre not sure, then let it run until you are sure..

for those that dont see a percentage, there's an active X file that it tries to install..
it may be getting blocked by IE, norton or some other security program..
