which ones offer the most info. i want to get one and can't deside on which one, honda or cylmer?

i have the honda service manual. it works pretty good, and comes in handy, but u dont need it pretty much after u do it either the first time or a couple times of doing the same TASK.
Go with the Honda service manual - it is handsdown the best one available.
i have one of those Clymer atv repair manuels. great book! like $100 cdn tho. but this baby has EVERYTHING in it lol. and the best part is.... there model specific! pick one up!

U PAID $100 CANADIAN FOR YOUR CLYMER!!! I PAID $40 CANADIAN. AND I THINK ITS BETTER THEN THE HANDA ONE, MORE INFO AND PICS. AND A LOT CHEAPER. THE HONDA MANUAL IS BOUT $100 CANADAIN. WERE DID U BUY YOUR FOR $100????

im cheap i went to a website with microfish and saved the pictures plus the # are part numbers you can order from

I have the Clymer manual ($37 US) and I've done everything down to rebuilding my transmission with it and had all the info I needed.

FWIW, I found this place that sell's the Clymer manual pretty cheap ($21.95 US): http://store.yahoo.com/motobooks/clymhontrx40.html Supposedly, the Clymer manuals are a little better for someone who's not really a mechanic. I had a Clymer for a Blaster a few years back and it was probably easier to read than the actual Honda service manual.
