Duncan Racing PC2000 275cc PV motor info

I have one of the above motors coming my way and just wanted to know what everyones thoughts are. I have a ESR 310 as well as a CT 310 motor, but mostly ride desert/dunes now and am no longer a racer.

What type of power out put will I expect with a 39mm Keihn and a Bills or Paul Turner MX pipe?

I know this is kinda vague, if you need more info for a more in dept reply just ask.

i had a duncan 265, which i imagine is pretty similar to the 275... yah- what exactly are you wanting to know?

I would like to know what type of power output to expect and if it will perform better then the 310 non PV motors in the dunes.

No one here has any experience with Duncan motors? Or am I just not worthy of a reply... LOL?

i couldnt tell ya as far as comparison really... i know i have beaten several of those bigger bores, but i dont know the riders good enough to tell you how much was me and how much was the engines...

i really liked my 265 pv... it had great top end, but i could also shift a little early and it would have the mid to pull it into the powerband of that next gear...

sorry- i dont have too much in dpeth experience with other engines and equal riders to give you too much info

I had a PC2000 275 that I sold about this time last year to a guy in Arizona. I assume he was going to ride desert or dunes. I used it for TT racing in a very lightweight frame. I ran a 39mm carb on it. If you are running MX the 38mm or even a good 37mm carb will work. It was very easy to tune and ride. The Duncan guys to me were great to work with. I also ran a Paul Turner TT pipe that was on these cylinders. Recommended by Duncan.I used to ride against a Sparks 265 non PV that was a little faster but hit harder. I now run a Sparks 350PV. I don't have to tell you how fast it is. ..... Hope this helps.
