Will stock yfz shocks bolt up onto an R without ANY modifications at all? I am just wondering because i want to keep my PEPs when i trade for a yfz. So will the stock shocks bolt up without any mods at all?

It will work if you mill the top shock mounts to be thinner.

YFZ shocks are about an inch wide at the top mount but pretty close in eye to eye length of R shocks. Your 250r shocks will bolt right up to the YFZ if you use some washers at the top mount or change the bushing at the top. I read it as you were putting YFZ shocks on your R.

this is new to me. So if you wanted to upgrade, you need to mil the upper mount down? Without a revalve, and on stock a-arms how do they ride? This could be a cheap up grade for the other r i have.
