Heavy Duty Camchain

I am told that the camchain for a CRF450R {#14401-MEB-671} will also work in a 2002 400EX.

My question is, has anybody tried one, and does it work ?

Also because it is 9 rows accross instead of 7 rows how does that effect the chain slider ?
I am replaceing mine now and it seemed as though the stock 7 row camchain has chewed up the sides of the slider.

How would the 9 row chain work with the 400EX chain slider ?

yes i have one in mine...my slider wasnt chewed up at all so i didnt get a new one but u might just wanna buy a new chain slider too just too be on the safe side...

Got one as well and works great, no slider issues
