450R arms

Will 450R a arms work on a 400 ex if so do you need to mod them

I guess if you really wanted to you could attempt to modify them Prolly wouldnt be too smart though. The 450 arms dont line up on the 400ex. they are about an inch or two wider so they wont mount up unless some serious modding was done

i do alot of race car fab work so any moking up is no problem i was just wondering if there was a quick way to do it has anyone atleast tried

pick up a set of cheap stock 88-89 250R a arms on ebay. they bolt right up in the stock locations and also is a good way to get about an inch and a half wider front end:D

If your good at fabricating why not just make your own? The 450s will not work. I guess you could make them work but at what point do you figure that they are more work than they are worth.

i see 250r you say,hmmm,i could make a set considering ive made sets up before on my camaro and other projects,hmmm.i already made my own swing wich i would post pics of but it keeps saying my pics or file size is too big but i still cant believe the 450 arms are that much diff,but you guys probaly know more on this then I so ill go another rought any one else got any input

YEah, why would you want 450 a-arms? You can buy a set of +2 sport aarms for $400.
