tips hot to get most power out of raptor

Well I can't fully understand until you tell us what raptor you have, there are 5 of them.

But the first and most cost effective modification is an aftermarket exhaust and airfilter.

if you have a 660, drop your front sprocket to a 12 and it will feel like it has a lot more hp... good bang for the buck.

Get a intake, a pipe, and a PCIII or other fuel mapper then you go up on the front sprocket on the 700,but should do the 3 mods b4 getting the sprocket.----you can find these set up on e-bay in the $650 range then like $12 bucks for the sprocket.

LOL I think that's why we all own a raptor; now i'm not trying to be mean but a 700 raptor is really onlya 686cc machine; but you do have fuel injection; But i would pipe it and a PCIII air box and a k&n air filter all good choices; but on the sprocket if your trying to go faster you would want to go up in size on your front sprocet; a smaller sprocet will give you better take off but will lower your top speed and if you really want to have some fun add some NOS. you can get a sneanky pete NOS system for like $230 out of jeg's but that just my $0.02

do your normal "3mods" along with a 15t front sprocket and you will become a piped 450's worst nightmare if you know how to ride. I'm feeling what the other guys are saying about trying to stretch their face pass their ears. :D :cool:

Sell it and get something that puts out real power like a 250r. My 700 was a turd so I sold it. My old 660 was better

Remap efi, pipe, filter, and gear it for your riding style...(mx, trials, etc.)

if u want real power then send your head away for a porting job, bore ur stock sleeve to 686cc and install the wiseco piston 11:1(stock 9.2:1), a stage 2 camshaft with his new spring kit, full exhaust system with a k&n or UNI filter without lead and a jet-kit.
I would say go one tooth up (13 stock)

Dont forget to change the rod conection with that piston....

And then u just will have one problem: hold the front down.....hahahaha good luck.....

more money than i would ever want to put for something, the only thing i would put money in would be lighting so i could ride at night, im just rambling but has anyone thought of infra red lighting so it would be hard for policeman to find you?

yeah i've thought of those lights but when you really think about it. a cop car vs. raptor... hell no, theres no way, only if some one were trying to haul *** down the highway with him would someone ever get caught. ive been spotted by numerous cops. I just jump the ditches climb the hills and and take her up streams when you have to. the cops would never catch any of us who have the nuts to actually run:devil:

the first thing i bought for my 700 was an aluminum airbox. it made a world of difference... even in the sound. cfm performance, you can buy them on ebay for $120 brand new you'll have to buy a filter for it.

I can't see that changing much between air box materials. The first thing I did when I got mine was take the lid off and pulled the baffle out of the exhaust. It made a difference. They say the computer on the bike will compensate for air flo in, but no flow out. That is when you need your controller if you go to an aftermarket exhaust. If you pull your lid off make sure you get a good filter or put on a filter skin.
