Jetting Help

My buddy has a 2000 400ex, he just installed a lrd slip on. Does anybody know about what main jet to run, I have always used a full system. Any help would be appreciated

I'd say start with a 150, airbox open or closed?

Just a slip-on with no airbox or filter mods i'd maybe try going up 1 or 2 sizes until she stumbles then back down 1. Or convince him to buy the k&n power up kit, it comes with a jet kit and instructions that will get you pretty close.

A 150 main is gonna be to lean for just a slip on, try a 152 main that will be better. I tried a 150 main when I was jetting my bike and it was way lean.
