300ex vs 350 worrior/raptor

ok im bored and was thinking about this a while so i wanted to see what you guys/gals think is a better machine for performance realiablity ?

They are both pretty equal. For Reliability I would say Warrior/Raptor and for performance I would say 300ex. My buddy has a 300ex that just plain gets it.

ive never ridden a 300ex but the raptor and warrior are the same engine...so if i had to guess id say the warrior is faster in overall speed because of the raptors weight

for reliability go with honda. if u want looks go with tha raptor. theyre all pretty close in a drag race in terms of speed.

definatly honda for reliablility, you wont find too many quads more reliable than the 300ex, for a race they are pretty close, i ran beside a piped raptor 350 (slip on) and we stayed pretty much even until he hit 6th, or at least i believe it was 6th, im pretty sure the rap is a 6 spd. if its not than it was 5th, he pulled top gear a little faster, they have more top end speed, but if i held it pinned he didnt get out too much, they run pretty close.

300ex has more bottom end also. in a drag they are preety much even till the 350 hits 6th.

few more questions how many valves do the ex and raptor have and what one is better for trails with light mud

the whole reason why im asking is because i jst want a fun realiable easy boot -2- boot quad to just take it easy on

300 has 4 valves, i believe the rap has 2, i could be wrong but i remember the warriors being a 2 valve design, but mabe they updated it. your best bet is to go with the 300ex, they are one of the most reliable quads made

my brother had a worrior and it was pretty reliable, the oil was changed like once a year and he didnt have problems, but i think the 300ex handles better, it doesnt feel as heavy as the worrior did

ive owned both, 89 warrier and 00 300ex . i would say get the warrior. its faster and was more reliable than my 300. the 300 does handle much better though
