I need someone to tell me how to take
some major scratches out of my fenders. As u can see
these things are in pretty bad shape. But don't think bad of me
cause they were like that when I bought it, I'd never treat
it bad:)

It is a lot of work, but sand the whole thing down with an orbital sander and fine sand paper. You can start with like 250grit and finish with 600. Then take a propane torch and carefully heat the plastic to melt the white away and bring back some of the luster. Keep the torch moving and three to five inches away from the plastic at all times. Then wash it and hit it with about three coats of mop and glow. Or you can just say fooee on it and just ride it and save up for some nice full bore plastics;)

also I use some of this white armorall stuff on my plastic and that helps a lot with the smaller scratches but basicly soggyrider hit the nail on the head./

I know man, I didn't like the light on the handle bars so I found
that spot right behind my serial# and drilled a hole a jammed it
in there. It works good under there too. bout how much does
that plastic cost?

Hey man thats funny!! Ha Ha , I'm not the one that did all that
damage. I told ya that it was the guys that had it before me. I don't think I could do that. They tried climbing rock walls

you can buy stock plastics for cheap, I did and it looks brand new

I just got maier shiny race cut, they were about 230.00 total from Rocky Mountain ATV. They are way cheaper than both stock and fullbore plastics, and they look good. I will try to post a pic soon.

Fullbore runs around 500.00

Stock for 300ex is outrageous, probably more than fullbore when you are done buying all the little pieces.

The headlight idea is pure genius, my headlight doesn't really match my new plastics, so hiding it there will work great.

That light I have on there has one screw coming out
of a mount under the light, If u do put it under there
u gotta watch and try not to drill through your serial #
or whatever it is. Try to drill at an angle going in toward
the bar. It was kinda tricky getting it under there, but it
didn't take long and it paid off. Another thing, if you put
it under there make sure it's real tight cause if u jump
or something it jars the light around and messes up the
allignment. But its cool. Pm me if ya need any help.
