I'm really happy with the power of my 2000 440ex right now. But

I'm the type of person that can never have too much power. I

just had it built it has about 5 hours on it since the big bore. I

want to know what I can do to get even more power out of it

without re-boring or stroking.

Here's what I have done to the motor:

Wiesco 440 Big Bore 12.5:1 piston

Hot Rod HD Crank And Connecting Rod

HD Valve Springs

Hot Cams Stage 2

450r Crab

LRD Full Exhaust

K&N Airfilter

Hinson Clutch Basket

EBC Clutches

HD Cam Chain

What will push more power out and give me more torque and

more speed. I love top speed but i don't want anything that is

going to take away torque. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Not a lot left, I'm afraid.
Higher compression 13:1
Bigger cam requiring hard weld rockers.
Port and polish on the head
Bigger valves
New CDI
Make sure jetting is spot on.

Or get a different quad

Who makes a really good CDI? Has anyone used the dynatek ignition? Is it any good?

Head work is really what u need, plus an FCR carb, or a better quad

definitely head work. Port and polish with OS valves. Along with what everyone else said as well.

Also a lightened flywheel for better rev, depending on your riding. This would work well if you were ever willing to go with the 460-500cc stroker.

And a high performance coil
