good idea or no

i have a curtis sparks adv timeing key in my motor and the other mods i have listed. will i be ok to put a hot cam stage 2 in with the key or should i take the key out. worried about over heating and pre det. i ride when its 85 90 degress. thanxs steve

Curtis Sparks says on it's website that it is not recamened for heavy modded motors, as long as you have a cam and a pipe it should be okay. If you bore your motor higher then take it out.

You'll be fine. But if later on down the road you do put in a higher compression piston you'll just have to run a little higher octane gas to avoid any detonation.

Don't know about the key but I wouldn't get a stage2 without having atleast a 416 with 11:1 comp.
