hey, whats up wit yall, can anybody with a hood post their pics. i think im goin to get one but i cant narrow it down to what brand i want. ill appreciate any responds. thanks

I hope you have all the stuff done like, a-arms, front shocks, rear shocks, steering stem, maybe even some rims.

you should invest in one of those items before you start thinking about the looks of your bike.

but that is just my opinion.

I belive you should work on the performance aspect before the looks.

**** thats why my bike doesnt have new plastics yet...

i think the 400EX looks sooo gay without the headlights but CW that one you said was a 250R had some pretty kool plastics up front. they incorporated the side scoops! sweet deal!

well with it being gay and all, i think you oculd get alot out of it, it would be something to post in a lot of diffrent places, because only a certain type of person would pay premium for something like that if you get what im sayin,,,,,some people looks are really imp. to, and theyll pay a ton, whereas someone like me its not that impportant..id say 7k maybe but its hard to say without a mod list


and 400ex racer dude:rolleyes: , you dont come into a thread about 400s with hood scoops and say they look gay....your lucky you dont live closer to some of these people!!!!!!!!!

as for mosd it is all in the cosmetics and suspension etc,,,,,,motor is stock except for the webcam and k&n and slip on t4

CW yea 400s are going cheap here too. you can only get 3000 here for that bike. let me know who to make the check too.:D

Chris your the first person I have seen with my hood lol. I thought I was the only one that had the red quadtech. U have a nice bike but I would be jealous if u got 7k for it, I mean it looks good but, I have alot in mine and cant get 7k for it, o well.

yeah i know...........7 is high,,,,,,,,,and 3 is actually too low..........and in all honesty it will most likely sit in the shop next to the other bikes that i have too much in to sell......and i will more than likely get more bikes ..........i still need an 85 350X,,,,an 87 250R, an 89 250R , and an 86 ATC 250R..and what ever honda is coming out with next.......LOL. I was mainly just curious,,,,,,and you guys confirmed my suspisions.......the bike is worth more to me than anyone will ever be willing to pay........but its like that with everything i guess;)


X-Rider...........the red hood is on my wifes 86R. But you are right i have seen very few of them:D

ok, some dont look THAT bad with the hoods but i just like them better WITH the lights and lightcovers, like B-d racings quad! now THAT is nice. and the only ones i DON'T like are those Maier smoothy ones. but i'm sorry to anyone i've offended with my previous post okee dokee? good stuff! the carbon fiber ones are kinda neat too but i just use my lights so i really can't use a hood. anywayz, later dudez!

no problem,,,;) i wasnt really offended:p just had to call ya on it......see i dont use the lights and if i find i will need some for late night dune riding.......then i will get a better stator and some lazar lights:D
