I got a friends Kodiak that needs the carb worked on and I wanted to sese what you all have to say about it.

seems to dump fuel and foul plug

Choke level does not move freely

fuelcock does not stop fuel...can run it all day on off.

carb was supposedly rebuilt but is constantly fouling plugs so a spare must be carried. seems to do it when you shut it off and go to fire it back up. once runnin gits fine since its burning alll the fuel

any ideas?? I was just going to try to find a complete carb on ebay and go from there.

Too Rich it sounds like. Try adjusting the float level, it sounds like that should fix most of your problems if not all of them. As for the petcock not stopping the flow, I would take it off of the tank and try cleaning it out, sometimes they get dirt and crap in them.;)

Put a rebuild kit in the carb. The needle and seat aren't holding and the jet needle may be worn fron dirty air. all the parts you need coem in the kit
