Will the cam mod give it more bottom end or top end power? I tried it and my quad wouldn't even start.

Gain in Mid to top but is you jet it right you shouldn't loose any bottom end. If it won't start you probably went two teeth not one.

How many teeth off is the cam from actual YZ timing?

you would twist the stock exhaust cam on the yfz one tooth retarded and it would be the YZ timing.

Thats exactly the same as my WR. I thought I had read somewhere that it was 2 teeth but if that was true I don't see how it would even run. I can't rotate mine. I have to buy the YZ cam. ThumperTalk had them at one time for $100.

You retard the exhaust cam one tooth. It is not actualy the same timing as a YZ but almost. If you want a new cam just get the hotcam you put it in normal to get the timing you want. But it would be money better spent to get the intake cam and cammod the exhaust cam.
